Seeking qualified professionals to work for your business? Do you realize that there is only a 1% success rate in internet job searches?

The old adage “It’s not what you know, it is who you know” still holds some validity. You are more likely to find experienced and professional people through networking, professional organizations and encouraging your employees to refer friends. This way you are not hiring a total stranger.

Consider offering an Employee Referral Program. Let me explain, you may offer your employees either a monetary reward or other incentive (i.e. extra days off of work) to refer potential employees to your business.

Growing Your Business Online:

Having an online presence has become a must for all types of businesses - right from small scale to large scale businesses. What is the use of online presence if it is not known to many people and it is not put to use to increase business? This is where web promotion comes into the picture. When the right kind of web promotion techniques are used a website can be used to drive business growth very effectively. Some of these techniques can be adopted and practiced by web owners themselves. But not many owners have the time or knowledge to implement them. Such owners can utilize professional services who can adopt the best online marketing methods to attract and build a large customer base for their business.

The online web promotion strategies should be innovative and effective. Primarily, the first concern should be the look and feel of the website and search engine optimization of it. To attract and more importantly to retain visitors coming to your site you have to make it user friendly and the navigation through the pages should be easy and intuitive. They should be able to get the information they need quickly and in a straight forward manner. Next is to ensure that the website content is rich in keywords and keyword phrases (which are words typically used by people when they search for information on your services and products) so that your site figures near the top of search results page. This is called SEO.

Next is to popularize your website using articles and blog posts. Write out information rich articles concerning your field of operations. Get them published on sites and forums that attract your potential customers. If you are not an expert in writing articles there are copy writers available who can do this for you. Participating in blog discussions in blogs that are already popular and having your own blog in your domain is also a great way to create visibility for your website. Choosing the right sites and blogs to post your articles and posts is critical to the success of this online marketing method.

There are two benefits you can get out of the reciprocal linking method. In this you identify popular sites that are allied to yours or in the same niche as yours. Next you strike a deal with them to display your URL on their sites while you do the same for them. Banner display is a slight variation to this technique.

Pay Per Click (PPC) and Affiliate marketing are also strategies that pay off well. But these require some investment though the returns in terms of business growth are assured. In the PPC method for every click that is done to your site, you will pay someone with whom you have tied up. In Affiliate marketing you get people who will work for your business in the role of affiliates marketing on your behalf. For every sale that happens through them you will be paying a percentage commission.
